About the day
Andrew and Simon Megginson recently
erected a 500kW EWT Wind Turbine on
their land near Garton on the Wolds in
East Yorkshire.
As part of the launch they will be holding
an open day on 15th May 2012 and we
would like to invite you along to see it up
close and gather information from the
“horse’s mouth”. You are welcome any
time between 10am and 4pm on the day.
We will be joined on the day by a number
of representatives from other companies,
which have all formed part of the
successful installation, commissioning,
financing and on-going management of
the turbine.
The opposite page shows which
companies will be in attendance and how
they each contributed towards the
successful completion of this project.
The Open Day will be held at:
Kirkburn Grange,
Driffield, East Yorkshire,
YO25 9LP.
Between 10.00am – 4.00pm on 15th May.
Please do feel free to ask other colleagues or friends you feel may be interested
in attending this event.
Bacon sarnies, tea and coffee are available all day.

“Direct drive turbine manufacturer,
logistics, erection / commissioning,
operations and maintenance

“Provided all the legal advice on both
the turbine purchase contract and
balance of plant contract, along with
all necessary lending documentation”
“Financing for the entire project on a
flexible arrangement to suit the
needs of the client”
“Provided comprehensive insurance
coverage during the construction
and operational phases of the
contract, including ‘all risks’ of
damage including plant breakdown
to the turbine itself and loss of
income”

Travelling east along the A166 into Garton on the Wolds:
1. Travel through Garton and take a right hand turn onto Station Road.
2. Take the first right, past the row of cottages and next left to Kirkburn Grange.
3. Follow the road past Kirkburn Grange on your right.
4. You will see the turbine on the right once you pass through the trees.
5. Follow the track and parking will be signposted.
From Kirkburn end of Station Road

Take the second left turn off station road onto the single track road up to
Kirkburn Grange passed the cottages.

Follow the above directions from step 3.
Please note there will be no access through Kirkburn or Kirkburn Manor, the
postcode (YO25 9LP) will take you to a row of cottages. Site marked with a red
